Let us introduce ourselves:
Matthew Paroz
Matt has been shooting since 1996 after visiting the Hornsby Rifle Range for a try day. Starting out in F-Class, he now competitively shoots F-Open, PSR and Fly events.
Living and travelling all over Australia, Matt has been successful at many OPM’s and State Championships including winning the WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, QLD and National FClass Queens events. In 2002, Matt was a member of the F Class World Championship team that went to Canada. Due to family commitments his travelling is a lot less these days however he achieved the No. 1 badge at the 2018 ACT Queens and both the 2019 ACT Queens and Nationals.
A motor mechanic for 23 years, Matt decided to change direction and pursue his passion for rifle shooting and gunsmithing in 2011. With guidance from established gunsmiths and being a bit of a perfectionist, Matt has built up a loyal clientele and enjoys seeing them shoot well, even if it means coming second!
Rowena Paroz
Rowena works part-time in the business around their children’s schooling and activities. With a background in Customer Service, Rowena looks after the accounts, procurement, Customs and importation documentation, Firearms Registry requirements and general administration. While Rowena does not shoot, she has listened to and learnt a lot about shooting over the many years of travelling to competitions and in carrying out her administrative duties.
